Requirements for Exams

Dear Parents/Students,
We would like to take this opportunity to inform all our students and parents of how our exam structure works, as many of you are new to our academy and many of you have taken the accredited IAMIA & UKA exams and would like to know at least which grade you should be aiming for.
Below is a list of awards/exams that can be taken by any of our students based on their age and level of dancing capacity. In terms of passing the exams, this will be solely on the examiner decision not by HDA, as we are examined by an external body that will decide based on the performances that you give on the day of the examinations.
The levels of each awards earned are calculated on a term basis, e.g. If a student had enrolled for the September - December term 2012 and had taken their first exam as a beginner, they will receive the Masterplaque + certificate.
Those students who have enrolled for the May - July 2011 term and are taking their exams for the 2nd time, they will go onto Uni-Ted- 2 Red level, September 2011 term will be Uni-Ted 3 - Green level and so forth. This applies for all awards Intro's, Bronzes, Silver's, Golds etc.
